Melanie Morita-Hu is the author of Hooked on Amigurumi, One-Hour Amigurumi, and founder of Knot too Shabby Crochet, a popular Instagram account and Etsy shop. She began selling amigurumi plushies in 2016, and she has also sold her work at a number of events and festivals.
When Melanie’s not crocheting, she’s working full-time as a civil engineer, or she’s helping her husband build out their urban homestead, which has been affectionately dubbed the Hu Zoo. Together they garden, tend to their animals, renovate their home and yard, and generally just love working with their hands!
