My heart breaks for Los Angeles. While my family and I are safe, much of our beloved community has endured devastating losses from the relentless fires. Eaton Canyon, a place so deeply intertwined with our lives—where my husband and I had our first date, where we would hike with our dogs, and where we captured moments celebrating our engagement, pregnancy, and growing family—has been scarred by the flames. Watching it, along with so many other cherished and iconic parts of LA, go up in smoke has been beyond emotional.

I can’t even begin to comprehend the depth of loss so many families have faced. Yet, amidst the heartbreak, I’ve been moved by the incredible strength and unity of our community. The helpers—the firefighters, law enforcement, volunteers, and neighbors—are the unwavering light during these dark times. Their bravery and compassion remind us of the resilience and heart that define us as a community.

During the height of COVID, I created this pattern set as a small way to honor and thank these helpers. It’s completely free – all I ask is that you consider donating to a fire relief organization in lieu of payment. Together, we can continue to support and uplift those who need it most 💕
