  • 1 skein of pink yarn (worsted weight/aran/4ply)
  • 1 skein of white yarn (worsted weight/aran/4ply)
  • Size E-4 (3.5mm) crochet hook
  • 6 mm black plastic safety eyes
  • Polyester fiberfill
  • Tapestry needle
  • Stitch markers

Notes:

  • You may use any yarn weight and hook size, as long as it creates neat stitches such that the fiberfill will not show through.

Uterus

This piece starts with an oval is worked in continuous rounds using pink yarn.

ch 13 to create a foundation chain for the oval.

R1: starting at the second chain from the hook, 11 sc, 1 inc in the front loops of the chain, rotate the chain, then 11 sc, 1 inc in the back loops of the chain (26)

R2: [1 inc, 10 sc, 2 inc] x2 (32)

R3: [1 sc, 1 inc, 11 sc, 1 inc, 1 sc, 1 inc] x2 (38)

R4: [2 sc, 1 inc, 12 sc, 1 inc, 2 sc, 1 inc] x2 (44)

R5-6: 1 sc in each (44)

R7: [20 sc, 1 dec] x2 (42)

Add 9mm safety eyes between R11 & R12, about 6 stitches apart. Use black yarn and a tapestry needle to embroider a frown just below the eyes and two angry eyebrows above each eye. Stuff the piece with polyester fiberfill.

R18-20: 1 sc in each (12)

R21: 6 dec (6)

slst in next st, close off, and hide the yarn tail inside the piece.

Ovary and Fallopian Tube (x2)

This piece starts at the ovaries using white yarn.

R1: sc 6 in MR (6)

R2: 1 inc in each (12)

R3: [3 sc, 1 inc] x3 (15)

R4-5: 1 sc in each (15)

R6: [3 sc, 1 dec] x3 (12)

R7: 6 dec (6)

Stuff the piece and switch to pink yarn.

R8-20: 1 sc in each (6)

R21: [1 sc, 1 inc] x3 (9)

R22: [2 sc, 1 inc] x3 (12)

Fasten off leaving a tail for sewing.

Repeat until you have 2 sets.

Use the yarn tail and a tapestry needle to sew the fallopian tube to the top of the uterus as shown. Use a scrap piece of yarn to attach each ovary to the side of the uterus as shown.

  1. Thank you for this amazing pattern!! I started working on it tonight. But is there an error in Row 3? I don’t have room for all the stitches? If I remover the middle sc it works into the previous row, but the the following rows are off. Or should each row go past the stitch market? I’m pretty new, so maybe I’m wrong.
